Aujourd'hui, nous nous sommes intéressées au drapeau de Tanzanie, son origine et sa signification.
Le drapeau de la Tanzanie fut adopté en 1964. Il correspond à une fusion des drapeaux du Tanganyika et de Zanzibar. Il est traversé diagonalement par une bande noire bordée de jaune allant du point de drisse inférieur au point flottant supérieur. Le triangle supérieur est vert et le triangle inférieur est bleu.
Significations Les couleurs utilisées ont été précisées par le département de la planification et de la privatisation du bureau du Président de la Tanzanie (British Standard 2660, 1955) : - Le vert (0-010) représente la végétation abondante du pays. - Le jaune (0-002) représente ses riches ressources minières. - Le noir (9-103) représente le peuple. - Le bleu (0-012) représente ses nombreux lacs, fleuves et sa côte sur l'océan Indien.

Today, we wanted to learn more about the tanzanian flag, its origine and its signification.
The tanzanian flag was adopted in 1964. It is the fusion of the flags from Tanganyika and Zanzibar. It is crossed diagonaly by a black strip with yellow strips on each side coming from the lower left corner to the higher right corner. The superior triangle is green and the inferior one is blue.
Significations
The colors used were specified by the planification and privatisation department of the tanzanian President’s office (British Standard 2660, 1955) :
- Blue (0-012) represents the numerous lakes, rivers and the Indian Ocean’s coast.
- Black (9-103) represents the people.
- Yellow (0-002) represents the rich mining ressources.
- Green (0-010) represents the abundant vegetation of the country.
