Nous revoici avec la Finlande ! Marylin nous a proposé l'Afrique sur l'article de la semaine dernière, nous avons tiré le Kenya pour la semaine prochaine :) Laissez nous en commentaire ce que vous voulez qu'on mange comme continent la semaine d'après.

Nous avons remplacé la crème épaisse par de la crème de noix de coco, le beurre par de la margarine et le cabillaud par du tofu fumé.

Nous avons remplacé les maquereaux par du tofu fumé.

Nous avons remplacé l’œuf de la pâte par 2 cuillères à soupe de fécule de maïs et le beurre par de la margarine. Nous n’avons pas utilisé d’œuf pour dorer le dessus.

Curry smoked tofu
Preparation Time : 10 minutes
Cooking Time : 10 minutes
For 3 people
Ingredients :
Smoked tofu : one block
Curry : 1 teaspoon
White beans : 500 g
Garlic : 2 cloves
Fresh chopped parsley : 6 tablespoons
Olive oil
Salt and pepper
Preparation :
Step 1
Put the dry beans in a pot, add the garlic and some water. Let it cook over low heat for 10 minutes (or until they’re cooked. Then, add some salt and pepper, the parsley and some olive oil.
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix some olive oil with the curry and a little of salt and pepper.
Step 3
Cut the smoked tofu in 6 rectangles. Dive them in the small oily bowl them cook them in a pan over medium heat for about 3 minutes on each side.
Step 4
Serve the rectangles with the beans and some rice. Pour a little olive oil on it, if you like.
Smoked tofu with mushrooms
Preparation Time : 15 minutes
Cooking Time : 20 minutes
For 4 people
Ingredients :
Smoked tofu : 1 block
(Poireau) : 1
Mushrooms : 1 box
Sauce :
Coconut/soy/rice/… cream : 25 cL
Dijon mustard : 1 tablespoon
Margarine : 3 tablespoons
(Aneth) : 2 tablespoons
White wine : ½ glass
Preparation :
Step 1
Cut the mushrooms and sauté them in a pan with the chopped (poireau) in some margarine during 5 minutes.
Step 2
Pour the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl. Preheat the oven on 400°F.
Step 3
When what’s in the pan it golden, add seasoning then pour in an oven-safe plate in which you add put margarine on the sides previously.
Step 4
Cut the tofu in 6 rectangles, then add them on top of the vegetables in the plate. Pour the sauce on top of it.
Step 5
Cook in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes, serve hot with some oven-baked or mashed potatoes.
Brioches
Ingredients :
Dough :
Coconut/almond/soy/… milk : 25 cL
Cornstarch : 2 tablespoons
Sugar : 85 g
Salt : 1 pinch
Cardamom powder : 1 teaspoon
Flour : 500 g
Baker’s yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) : 3 teapoons
Margarine : 100 g
Inside :
Melted and cooled down margarine : 50 g
Sugar : 40 g
Chocolate powder with Christmas spices : 20 g
Decoration (optional) : sugar pearls, frosting sugar
Preparation :
Step 1
Put the yeast it a small bowl with some warm water. Mix them together and let it stand for around 5 minutes.
Step 2
In a big bowl, put the flour, sugar and cardamom. Mix. Warm up the milk. Add the yeat mix, the margarine and half the milk.
Step 3
Knead the dough during 15 to 20 minutes. The dough should not stick to the bowl.
Step 4
Add the rest of the milk, little by little, until you get a flexible dough. You can add flour to get the texture you need. Cover and let it stand for 2 to 3 hours in a warm environment.
Step 5
Put some flour on your counter top and knead the dough to remove the gaz which is inside. You can divide the dough in 2 pieces to take less space.
Step 6
Spread the dough in a 1 cm thick rectangle. With a brush, spread some margarine on and sprinkle the chocolate powder and sugar on top of it. Roll the dough tight.
Step 7
With a knife, cut some 1,5 cm tall trapezes and 5 cm wide. Make the trapeze stand on its base. With the handle of a spoon, press the center of the (pointe) until it reaches the base. Be careful not to cut it.
Step 8
Place them on an oven trail with some parchment paper on it. Let it stand for 30 minutes.
Step 9
Do some decoration with the sugar pearls and frosting sugar. Then, bake it in the oven on 400°F for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Step 10
Put them in a bag for them to stay good longer.
